On March 25, 2008, Real Life Radio lost one of our dearest friends, Al Arbogast.  Although
we know that Al will be missed greatly, we also know that he is one of our biggest intercessors now.

Do you miss hearing Al's voice on Diocese Live! everyday?  Check out the Diocese Live! Tribute to Al.  Click here to listen.

Here are some fond memories that others have of Al:

..All of us who knew him on this earth are missing him now, too. What a gift to know such a sweet, magnanimous man of faith. JW

I know I, along with the listeners of Real Life Radio, will truly miss Al and his wise thoughts and sense of humor.... What I remember of Al, every time he saw me he always asked about Derek and how he was doing and "when will he be ordained a priest?" DV

He brought so much to the show and what an example he set to me and to others. CH

I cried yesterday afternoon with the girls as we listened to the news.  We all so enjoyed Al as a part of your show.  They said he was the “coolest” old person they knew. CJ

Al was truly a delightfully interesting fellow, and reminds me so of my own 83 year old father who is both interesting and interested in everything. EG

I wanted to express my condolences about the passing of Al, but I’m also so very joyful for his intercession for all of us from heaven now! We can use all the prayers we can get. GA

What a blessing Al has been to us all here.  More than most can ever realize. SG

Al was a good man and how beautiful the Lord has called him home on Easter Tuesday. Praise God!!! Fr. Chris

Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine.  Et lux perpetua luceat ei. Fr. Valentine
